Happy New Year!
Most people look towards a new year and think about what they want to achieve during the next 12 months. As a business, we are no exception. Here are our goals for the next 12 months;
- Continue to delivery high quality
This one is a no brainer but worth including, it is easy to let standards slip and take your foot off the pedal, we will ensure that this does not happen and we continue to produce exceptional quality design and development - Innovate
We always try to push the boundaries in both design and development. Already so far this year, we have achieved something in website application development that others said could not be done. We will probably write a dedicated post about that at some point because it is very cool indeed - Work with more local companies
During 2019, only 4% of our work was for companies within a 20 mile radius of us. Spreading a little further, 12% of our projects originated from the UK with the remainder from overseas. This is mostly due to our WordPress plugin popularity, but it would be great to work with more local companies. Edit: we have just been awarded the contracts for two Derbyshire based projects, woo hoo. - Improve our skillset
Our offering is already quite wide, we create brands, we design logos, websites, brochures, posters, banners, flyers, packaging, we develop websites, web based applications, WordPress plugins and bespoke software. What else is left? We are going to build several Mobile Apps over the next 12 months, we have built a few already but we have set time aside to learn more and improve our skills in this area considerably - Build on our infrastructure
Our web and email servers are already state of the art, however server technology is ever-changing and we will keep at the forefront of this - Dedicated support
Should you need support, currently you can speak to the team who directly worked on your project and they will sort you out. Whilst this works well for our customers, it can play havoc with our scheduling. This year we will start up a dedicated support desk that will work on support only. We are a growing company with a growing client base, dedicated support is the next phase of our growth - Develop existing products further
Needs change and evolve, and so should our software. We will continue to develop our existing products, adding more exciting features that have been requested by customers - Continue to love what we do
We are here because we love what we do. Continuing to change and evolve prevents us from stagnating and keeps the fire burning. Our passions shows in our work.
What are we up to right now?
We have a great mix of projects in currently, some we can talk about and some we can’t, so here are the ones we can talk about;
- Branding refresh and website redesign for Matlock Town Council
We created the Matlock Town Council website back in 2012, the design at the time was innovative and still looks great today but the time has come to redesign and code to 2020 standards. We are also performing a brand refresh, more on this shortly in another blog post… - Ryanair Pilots Recruitment website
We are creating a dedicated pilot recruitment website for Ryanair, allowing them to streamline their recruitment process greatly - Kegstar Global and Regional websites
Kegstar are world leaders in smart kegs for breweries, we are creating a new global and muti-regional websites to promote themselves to their market - Cromford Canal
Local charity ‘Friends of the Cromford Canal’ is a charitable organisation whose aim is to see the restoration of the historic Cromford Canal for the benefit of the general public. We are designing and developing a fully featured website for them - Lubriserv
We are refreshing the brand identity and creating two websites, the first is a brochure style website advertising Lubriserv as a business and the second a fully featured e-commerce website - Bullhorn Plugin Integrations
Our ever popular Bullhorn to WordPress Plugin is currently being integrated in to 6 websites
