Doesn’t time fly, I remember 13 years ago when a local recruiter contacted us asking if there was a way their Bullhorn jobs could automatically sync to their WordPress website. There was no available product at the time, so we created one which would become the Bullhorn to WordPress Plugin.

The first version of the plugin was rather basic, it would simply sync jobs that matched a certain criteria from Bullhorn into WordPress. When jobs matched the criteria, they would sync over to WordPress. When they no longer match the criteria, the jobs are removed.

All good foundations, but what about applications? We set about adding applications to the plugin. When a candidate applies for a job, we checked firstly to see if the candidate pre-exists, if they do, we can update that candidate, if not, we create them.

Once we have the candidate, we create application, or submission as Bullhorn calls them within the CRM.

The plugin began getting noticed and before long we were selling both versions (just jobs and jobs and applications) to recruiters worldwide.

In 2016, GDPR became a thing, meaning candidates need to be able to see data you hold for them and also request full deletion. As a result, our Bullhorn to WordPress Plugin Candidate Portal version was born.

Candidates can register, log in, manage their info and more, all from your website, with all data storing within Bullhorn.

Next up on the request list was a client portal, allowing the client to log into an account to view jobs they are recruiting for, view candidates and more. Each client portal project is completely unique as each recruiter has different wants and needs for their clients.

The plugin has been growing in features since and our customer family continues to grow. Competitors have come and gone, providing a similar product.

Our customers have asked us to create other Bullhorn related products in addition to the plugin, as a result we have Bullhorn Automation services, data cleansing, data import/export, PDF creation, Bullhorn Reporting tools and much more.

We have created our Job Board Plugin for other CRM’s, such as our Vincere to WordPress Plugin (as you can see, we are good with catchy names).

We realised last year that we have so many recruitment focussed tools that they needed their own website, and so Recruitment Swiss Army Knife was created.

It’s interesting where a project can take you, who knows what the next project may be or where it will lead. It’s bound to be a fun journey though.
