It is amazing to see many businesses continuing to thrive through the obviously challenging times we are experiencing currently. COVID-19 has changed office work as we knew it, with team members no longer sat next to each other but individually at home.

Businesses have turned to collaboration software to keep connected, video conferencing systems such as Zoom and Skype enable meetings, Hubspot and Slack has helped workflows to continue and bigger tools such as Teams bring us all closer together.

Much of our work since COVID-19 has focussed around communication and collaboration. We have created bespoke software for businesses specific to their requirements, ensuring their successful operation whilst being separated from one another.

One such tool is a simple but effective communication tool for recruiters, over at our bullhornplugin.com project. It’s a big deal when a recruiter makes a successful placement, for customers, previously we created a message to flash on a big screen mounted in the office to highlight the placement which worked great for office morale.

However now of course there is nobody in the office to see the deal flashes. Instead we have adapted this to email each recruiter automatically using our Bullhorn Email Triggers. Many of the team also use Slack as a communications tool, sharing a channel to chat. Our email trigger tool has been upgraded to also post messages directly to the Slack channel!

Of course, not everyone uses Slack, with Microsoft Teams being another popular tool, so we have also provided support for Microsoft Teams to receive automated Bullhorn triggers.

We have also created other web based software for our customers. Often a piece of software has to be run on specific hardware, usually this isn’t much of a problem when everyone is at the office as hardware is standardised. At home however, everyone has a different setup.

To solve this problem, we have created web based software to integrate with your more rigid software. Using a web browser, we can create the same functionality, but the huge benefit of running through a web browser is that almost everyone can utilise this.

From desktops to tablets to mobile phones, the once rigid software can now be used anywhere. Of course, we cannot do this with every piece of software due to usage restrictions so please check with the manufacturer (or we can on your behalf).
